De La Soul • “itzsoweezee”
Birthday, 2010. I’d had the CD since 1990, but such a better experience on vinyl!
De La Soul • Stakes Is High (1996)
Jungle Brothers • V.I.P. (1999)
There ain’t none higha… RUN-D.M.C. • “King of Rock”
As a younger man in my early 20s I was very drawn to the positivity and social/global messages in records such as this.
De La Soul is Dead, spring 1991.
So I’m browsing my LPs for what to play next & this one gets my attention. Receipt inside shows I first bought this 20 years ago almost to the day. Incredible LP.
De La Soul • De La Mix tape - not sure if this is a legit release (2LPs in plain black sleeve with sticker in top left corner), but it’s great to have on vinyl!
PM Dawn • “a watcher’s point of view” (1991) - This song is a *JAM* .
Reissue of the super rare “Clear Lake Auditorium” EP on black vinyl (the orig was pressed on clear wax). Not sure if this is a legit release, but it’s super cool to have!
A Native Tongues box ‘o vinyl just arrived! Two De La Soul records & a Jungle Brothers LP.
WANT. De La Soul T-shirt.
